BonTerra Ibérica was founded in 1994 as a leading pioneer in Spain in the manufacture of organic blankets for use in erosion control projects.

Alongside the manufacture of erosion control Organic blankets BonTerra also offers technical assistance on erosion control and landscape recovery projects, offering systems and products for the protection of soil and vegetation.

The commitment of the company to the continual improvement of its products and services is accredited by an environmental management quality system certified by BVQi which comply with the standards ISO 9001 and 14000 regarding the production of organic blankets and the commercialization of other such related products, all having as their common goal, the betterment of our natural environment. Given the often limited resources available on such projects our staff always keep in mind the objective of achieving erosion control using the most efficient methods available, an approach that gives rise to our corporate slogan “Efficiency against Erosion”.

Currently, BonTerra Ibérica, belongs to and collaborates with all the main professional associations involved in the fields of landscape recovery, environmental conservation, soil rehabilitation etc. Examples of such associations include the Spanish Association of Agriculture and Soil Conservation (AEAC.SV in its Spanish abbreviation), The Association of Land and Environmental Recovery Companies (ASERPIMA in Spanish) and The Association of Environmental Companies of Andalusia (AESMA in Spanish)
